분석–Spotify 주식종목

그저 연습 삼아 주식 종목 하나에 대해 알아봤다. 아직은 잘 모르겠지만 앞으로 밸류이션 하는 법을 배워서 회사의 가치를 좀 더 정확하게 판단할 수 있게 됐으면 좋겠다.

● Spotify is the world’s biggest music streaming platform by number of subscribers.It operates on a freemium model, meaning free Spotify access comes with lower sound quality, and advertisements, and requires an internet connection, whereas those who pay for Spotify Premium can listen uninterrupted to high-quality recordings, and are able to download songs to any device on which they have the Spotify app.One of Spotify’s most-loved features is the user-specific playlists generated at first weekly and now daily for each listener, based on their listening history.

Some facts:- Spotify was founded in 2006 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon.- It went public in April 2018, with a valuation of $26.5 billion by the end of the first day’s trading.- A couple of years ago, it announced that audio, not just music, will be the future of Spotify. Spotify has been investing a lot on podcast since then. For instance, in November 2020, it aquired Megaphone, a podcast platform. As Spotify keep s expanding its service to more countries, we expect the MAU growth in the “Rest of the World” will continue.
